Ranking Methodology

Every “best of” list, comparison and review on Tajedo.com follows the same process. This page explains how I choose, test and rank the AI, marketing and online business tools I write about, and how I make money from them.

How I Pick What to Review

I’ve worked in digital marketing for over four years, and most of the tools I cover are ones I’ve used, been asked about, or seen readers struggle to choose between. I also look at search demand and reader questions to find the comparisons people need answered.

How I Evaluate Each Tool

I start with the official documentation, pricing pages and feature lists. Then I sign up, use the product or it’s free trial, and compare what it promises with what it does. I read recent user feedback to catch problems a short trial can miss, such as billing complaints, slow support or features that quietly changed.

What I Score

Each tool is judged on the same factors, so rankings stay consistent from article to article:

  • Core features: how well it does the main job it exists for.
  • Value for money: what you get at each price point, including limits, add-ons and renewal costs.
  • Ease of use: how fast a beginner gets a real result without hiring help.
  • Support and learning resources: response quality, documentation and tutorials.
  • Reliability and reputation: track record, update frequency and what long-term users say.
  • Growth potential: whether it still works when your traffic, team or product list grows.
  • Integrations and flexibility: how well it connects to the rest of your stack.

Weighting depends on the category. For a funnel builder, features and pricing matter most. For an SEO tool, data quality and usability matter most. I explain the priorities in the article itself.

How Rankings Are Decided

Tools are ranked on how well they serve a specific type of user, such as a beginner, a solo creator or a growing agency. That’s why the same tool can place first in one article and lower in another. I always say who each pick is best for and who should skip it.

Money, Affiliate Links and Independence

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That income keeps the site running, but:

  • Commissions don’t decide rankings. A tool with no affiliate program can beat one that pays well.
  • Nobody can pay for a better ranking or a favorable review.
  • I disclose affiliate links wherever they appear and keep the downsides of every tool in the review.

Keeping Content Current

Pricing, features and plans change fast. I update articles when something important changes and show the last-updated date on each page. If you spot outdated info, tell me and I’ll fix it.

A Note on Your Decision

Rankings are a starting point. The best tool is the one that fits your budget, skill level and goals, so use free trials where they exist and check current pricing on the official site before buying.
